What sets this packaging design apart is the lovable cartoon figure that represents the joy and excitement children experience when faced with a variety of delicious pastries. The aim is to convey the emotional attachment and pleasure that Cantonese pastries bring, making everyone fall in love with them.

The packaging is made using environmentally-friendly and renewable corrugated papers, ensuring low production costs. The design includes three different packages. The blue packing box, resembling a lucky dip, allows children to grab different pastries from the holes. This encourages curiosity, adventure, and the pleasure of sharing among kids. They can exchange pastries with each other, promoting friendship.

Another small-sized packaging bag resembles a child's pocket. This design takes into account the tendency of children to hide their tasty pastries in their pockets, savoring them alone. The design aims to create a nostalgic and playful experience for customers.

The project was carried out in Guangzhou, China, starting in May and finishing in June 2017. The goal was to draw attention to the Canton-style pastry culture and emphasize that it is not limited to the older generation but appeals to everyone.

This innovative packaging design by Yicheng Huang won the Iron A' Design Award in 2018. The award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. It is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, and contributing to a better world.
